This dog trainer, while not having prices available online to view, uses positive training methods and has worked with dog and human aggressive dogs. He offers a free consultation and will give you a price after calling him to discuss your individual dogs needs.

This trainer also has experience with dealing with aggressive dogs, including an APBT who had bitten his owners several times. The dogs has since stopped that, and knows basic obedience and lives a well mannered life. She does not use the same method for every dog, and she may employ both positive training with some treats and corrections for unwanted behavior.

This trainer may be more expensive, but has actually been hired by the court to evaluate dogs in legal matters. He also uses various methods, and is a dog behaviorist.

As for cheap, contact local shelters. They're most likely to know which trainers will have quality for a good price, as they will have to use one and are on a tight budget as well. Unfortunately, many trainers dislike putting their fees online because they don't want to turn potential clients off. You can probably get a straight answer or rough estimate by calling.
