You sound like a cranky teacher giving a homework assignment!!! Social dominance is where your dog is simply spoiled and takes advantage of you: takes "you" for a walk; picky eater; disobeys common commands; runs away occasionally; always must win tug-of-war and other competitive games; goes upstairs and through doors before you do; pees-poops-chews what he wants when & where he wants; barks; etc.etc. There is no such thing as a good form of social dominance in a dog. They need a leader. When there is none, they will assume the role and become difficult to handle, and very stressed in that role.
