Sounds like you have too many problems to answer here. Go to your local library and check out a book or two on raising and training puppies. 6 weeks old is about 2 weeks too young to bring a puppy home. So take the puppy back. Read the book for 2 weeks and then get your puppy. You'll be much more ready then.

Effective Dog Training Tips

  • a 6 week old pup is too young to leave its mama and littermates. give it back to the BYB you got it from. in many places, it's ILLEGAL to separate a pup before 8 weeks. YES- the two extra weeks make a HUGE difference!!
it bites, because it hasn't learned bite inhibition (something it would be learning from its littermates NOW) and it's pottying in the house because it is SIX WEEKS OLD! it's got as much bladder control as a five month old human infant! it CHEWS because that is how pups explore their environments, and people who do their RESEARCH before obtaining a pup know to puppy proof the house, leave toys around, and SUPERVISE the pup, to make sure it doesn't chew on something dangerous!

bring the dog back to the BYB. then, do some research before you get a dog- from a REAL breeder.

  • You're clearly a responsible owner, and your mum sounds like she really wanted a puppy!
    1) Puppies should not go to their new homes until they are at LEAST 8 weeks old.
    2) She's 6 weeks old for goodness sake, and in a new environment, do you really expect her to know where to go to the toilet?! You have to take her outside every 1-2 hours and stay with her until she goes, then give her lot's of praise.

I could go on with all of the other things included in owning a puppy, but i'll let you do that for yourself, seeing as you've done NONE so far.

  • she will most likely grow out of the chewing stage. but as for going potty in the house, its just something that clicks. since she is so young, she has a tiny bladder, so take her out say every 45 minutes or so. when she goes pee or poop, act like she is doing the best thing in the world, and praise the crap outta her. after doing this, she will associate that going potty outside is how its supposed to be done.

  • well i have a dog and i trained her for using the bathroom usually dogs give u a sign when they need to go that sign is usually waiting at the door take her out side so she can use the bathroom, biting all she need is a chew toy give her and old shoe or some old toys
