Dog Training Tips
- I've got a five year old Lhasa Apso, so we're in a similar position with closely related dogs. Mine barks at the television - every time a dog is on - sheep - monkeys - cats - even animated cartoons of animals. She will go outside, she runs to the far side of the garden and barks, she comes in, she sits on the settee or by the front door (its glass) and barks at anyone walking past the top of our drive.
I'm seriously thinking of just spraying her with water as a 'punishment' - I don't mean turning the hose pipe onto her, but just with a little plant spray for in the house.
I blame my husband - he thought it was cute when she was a tiny puppy that she watched television and encouraged her to bark at the televison just to annoy the neighbours! but that's another story.
let me know if you find the cure.
