Dog Health Questions: Affordable, Quality Dog Training In San Diego?

I am so frustrated right now. I adopted a shelter puppy back in May. She is a Rottweiler mix, and my other two dogs are small dogs (a Poodle and a Chihuahua). At first, the puppy was REALLY mellow. Now, she's nuts and keeps getting in fights with my other dogs. My poor Chihuahua has a gash on her head from getting attacked by the (much bigger) puppy. I am at wit's end! She is just out of control. Does anyone have any recommendations for afforable training? I checked out some ads in the phone book, but I can't pay $950.00 to board my dog for three weeks. Please help! If you have had a good experience with a trainer, please tell me a little bit about their methods, costs, and general program. Thank you!

Congratss on the adoption..
As for training, contact your Vet and get a recommendation from them. They may know of someone that deals with behavior issues. Check with the pet store (Pet Smart, Petco) they might have someone they would suggest.
$950.00 sounds high, and I would never board my dog for training. You as the owner need to be there to train, so that the dogs knows that you are the "boss". Someone else training, the dog might not listen to you when you get it home.
Best of luck to you...and the smaller dogs...
