Train Your Dog - Benefits and Tips For Successful Dog Training

Recommended Answer:
First of all you have to train the dog to attack yourself. Once you have achieved that you then train it to attack family members. Only after you have achieved these first two steps can it be trained to attack strangers. Hope this helps.

Dog Training - Getting the Basics Right

  • I'm sorry but personally that sounds very dangerous. Dogs alone without any training can be aggressive, but TEACHING them to be aggressive without professional supervision sounds like it should be a job for a K9 Police dog. If you want to live, I suggest teaching your dog typical obedience commands.

  • Wow you are ignorant. I dont even want to know what breed they are.

  • Wow, the trolls are rampant tonight.

  • You can't do this kind of training yourself. It requires professional training for both you and the dog. The dog has to unfailingly follow your commands every single time or someone unintended could get hurt and you'll be liable. you also have to have the right kind of dog that responds well to both obedience and protection training - most dogs aren't good candidates.

Learn about schutzhund training - but it's not a minor commitment of time - it's a major project and it takes professional assistance. It's not for most people or most dogs and it can't be learned from a book or website.

  • Choose a breed that works best as an attack dog.

  • If you want a protection dog, then please have it trained by a professional. Attack dog training, if carried out properly, is very useful in personal protection. However the dog should still use his own initiative, if situations arise where the handler has been injured and cannot give a command. People who purchase or have their dogs trained for dog obedience, protection or attack, need to be advised by the professional trainer on how to correctly handle the dog. A good dog trainer can make it look safe and easy, but attack dog training is not a past time for amateurs, leave it to the professionals!

  • You should be seeking professional help for this-- teaching your dog to attack on command needs a professional trainer, not just a book or website.

  • watch cesar millans videos

  • You can get a lot of information in training books and the internet. However your insurance will be cancelled on your home if they find out. Having dogs like this is a liability NOT an asset! Just because you are thinking of training them is scary. You do not have the ability to professionally train dogs that do this 100% of the time on command. It takes trainers years of training to learn proper handling and training of dogs.
As for family purposes, build a better fence, you are going to need it.

  • Schutzhund training or French Ring Sport both teach protection work. Like another person said, it is not a light commitment if you want to be safe. For a dog to be a good protection dog, the training needs to be a lot of fun for the dog, as well as have a lot of VERY solid boundaries, about which behavior is desired and which is not.

Protection training cannot be effective through punishment training. Timing and technique are of the utmost importance, and the dog's self-confidence must be high. Not all dogs are suited to this kind of training, so please consult a professional to do a temperament test to discover if this is a good route for your dogs.

To really do it right, you will be adopting a whole lifestyle, and the training of your dogs becomes a top priority.

There are many online resources for trainers. There are also lots of articles - please do both - read articles AND work with an experienced professional who is happy to provide you with referrals of happy, successful clients.

  • In principle, I have nothing against training a dog to be a guard dog. But I think this requires professional help. Honestly I don't think you can train a dog to be aggressive on command without making it aggressive overall.
