Dog Health Questions: Name for dog training business (revised)?

Hi. I am currently in School to become a "certified" dog trainer, although I have been training dogs for several years and have just never had a sheet of paper stating I am a professional. Anyway I'm going to be starting up an official business soon and need a good name.

A lot of people come up with really corny/cheesy ideas, and I understand that. However, this will be a professional business and I want my clients to take me seriously. So I'm up for all suggestions, but please try to think about how you would feel bringing your dog to do business with me.

I believe it is important to establish yourself as a pack leader. However, I believe there are different methods that can be taught and used to go about becoming a pack leader. I will all of these methods. I do not like using clickers but some people find them very helpful, and if that method gets your dog to listen then I believe the person should use it. I do not believe in yelling at or hitting your dog. I believe it has only a negative impact damaging your relationship with your dog. I believe in using all forms of collars except pinch, electric, and bark collars. Many people do not believe in choke collars because they are afraid it will harm their dog and cause him to actually "choke" however this is only true if you do not know how to use a choke collar properly. If anyone has any other questions, please feel free to ask

I also wanted to add that I am aware that I will need to speak with a marketing consultant, however I am also interested in getting opinions from the public who may oneday be my potential clients. It is good to get feedback from the people you would be advertising your business to.

Hi -

Welcome to a GREAT business and a wonderful life. Been a pro trainer for 25+ years and would not be anything else.

There are communities on the web where pros gather and support each other. This sort of question calls for some back and forth to get close to what you're looking for.

I've helped dozens of people name their businesses.

Sounds like you are someone who considers all options. My first thought might be something like "real life dog training" or something like that. Training for real life? Training that works? We really need to go back and forth a bit. If you want to do that, I'm happy to help.
