- Yes you can, and many places have junior competition as well so you can compete against other kids interested in the same thing you are. As long as the dog is obedient to you, you should have no problems entering competitions. Good luck!!!

- Yes. Try joining a 4H or dogscouts group that does agility. Many kids of adult competitors get started fairly young, often on an experienced dog, which makes it easier for the kid. If you want to start from scratch, I suggest you find an experienced person or instructor to help you get started- training is not always easy, or obvious, and is a long term project- plan on 6-12 months minimum to get you and the dog ready for competition.
If you are old enough to participate in this forum (???) I can say that with some good instruction you may do very well. A 13 year old I know won numerous events at the CPE nationals recently, and a 17 year old won USDAA Steeplechase and Grand Prix nationals last year, just won regionals again this past weekend. - Yep, kids can run their dogs in agility. You would be called a Junior Handler. There are many kids / young people competing in agility and doing really well.
