Dog Health Questions: What type of schooling do I need for this?

I want to run a boarding house for cats, dogs, and other small animals.

I want to have dog training, grooming, house sitting, dog walks, and boarding as all the things I offer.

SO what schooling to I need?

Check with your state government. I think you need a license if you set up any kind of business. Word of mouth is a great way to advertise, too. Make a list of your references and keep them nearby when people call you. Make sure your boarding place is clean. You might need a state inspector to check it over once a year or so. I don't think you necessarily need schooling for this sort of thing, as long as you have all of the state certifications available and have references. You need to place an ad in several papers to get more customers. It would also be a good idea to talk to a vetrinarian ahead of time to find out if he/she would be available in case of an emergency. That would impress your customers, too. Also, a friend gave me an idea about this. You can video the animal and have it on a website so the owners can check in throughout the time you are taking care of it. Take a video every hour, except when you are sleeping. Good luck
