Dog Health Questions: What is a good dog treat?

i feed my dog with meat make sure good meat and veg as i don't like any dog foods somebody rates a certain food and someone will say no it's not so good i know he well fed as the vet comment to me how good his health and coat is and vet agreed that dog needs meat well training him i tried dogs Chocolate drops did not like them so now i train him with bits of cooked chicken as tried other dog treats what do people think of the shop bought treats is it me or make dogs hyper i find my dog trains better way bits meat or chicken does anybody else feel the same

  • Little bit's of cheese, chicken, or Fish4Dogs (like the previous person said). Don't feed them too much of these foods, one of the reasons is they will get fat, and also it won't be such a "treat" any longer.

  • I'm currently giving mine Fish treats, from Fish4Dogs (UK). They go nuts for it. You can also use raw carrots (although it does tend to go right through!!) - at least it's healthy.

    They also have Bonio (biscuits).

  • Anything smelly, made for dogs, and bite-sized tends to be a good treat.
    Some dogs like cooked meat, eggs, or bits of cheese.

  • dry cat food
