Dog Health Questions: Are these two 50ft. dog leashes the same?

I want to get a really long leash so that when I play with my dog in my back yard he won't run away. I have an acre long backyard so I want to get the longest leash possible. Are these two leashes the same? Or is one better than the other? Are there any other leashes that are longer than 50ft?

They look the same but you would have to test them out to see which is stronger, If you have a very strong dog look around shops and ask which is suitable for him.

Hope i helped :)

Major Breakthrough in Dog Training Revealed

  • There is only one problem with working with a long line.

If this is a big dog then remember that if he starts running fast and gets to the end of the line then you either have to let go or your shoulder and arm will take a severe pull.

It also won't do his neck any good either.

I try to teach a "steady" which means slow down and they do learn about the limits of the line.

  • Both look the same, you need to check the size of the dog that the leads will hold.

Neither of these could be used to tie a dog out when left alone.

  • when you go to buy them bring your dogs and test them out see which you like best also see which your dog likes best

  • Why don't you just teach your dog to NOT run off? I can't imagine owning a dog that can't be off leash. My dogs are trusted anywhere I go.
