You need to enroll in a training class. Your dog needs to be put on the NILF program. From here on out, nothing is free. She has to work for everything. You can easily establish your status as pack leader humanely by instituting this program. Getting your dog to perform something as simple as a "sit" for you is your dog showing you respect. This is why a training class will be so helpful. You need to learn as much as your dog does. I'm not saying that to be mean. You will see what I'm talking about as you take the class. It's amazing the great things YOU learn to help you through this. Remember, the majority of our dogs behavior problems are OUR fault. We have to teach them the rules of the house and how to behave. You haven't done that yet. I would start crate training as well. Here is a great article to get you started on that:

If she isn't spayed, I would also have that done. That will calm her down as well.

Free Dog Training Tips - Train Your Dog

  • If you have been feeding her from the table or giving her human food then you created the monster.

  • Take her to a dog trainer. They will certainly help you with these issues!

Re: Crate training...Crate training is great! but should be a temporary solution while working on issues. It should not be used as a total solution to the problem other wise the dog never learns what manners are, only that she gets locked up all the time.

  • You have to call a professional dog trainer. Let them know what the dog is doing and they will help with some weeks of training. Do it soon before the dog gets so food aggressive that it will bite someone.

  • Gee if i had a dog like that it wouldnt be allowed inside especially if there are kids around.

  • CRATE. I think this was one of the best inventions. I would recommend to crate her before food gets placed out, while your eating, and while food is still out. I think that is the best thing to do!

  • You have never taught her who the boss is. Put her in another room when you are eating and never, ever feed her from the table again.

  • call a trainer.

  • No dog is born with good manners. Pooping on the carpet, leaping enthusiastically onto guests, pulling so hard he practically yanks your arm out of the socket when on walks -- that's all perfectly acceptable in the canine world. It's up to you to teach your dog to behave the way we humans want him to. Not training your dog and expecting him to be pleasant to live with is like never sending your child to school and expecting him to ace the SATs.

  • take a stick and bash her if she does like then talk to her and make her feel what u want to say to her
