Dog Training - Consistency vs. Habitual

Recommended Answer:
A Wolf-hybrid can be quite skittish and does not respond well to inanimate objects, fast motion, loud noises, or new people. They require much patience. Training is not for the weak and serious consideration should be given prior to obtaining a wolf-hybrid dog as they require firm, consistent training and ample space to roam. If there's something you find foul and offensive you can bet a wolf dog will roll happily in it and coat themselves in the funk! It is not until a Wolf Hybrid is about 18 months of age, that it will start showing signs of the wolf. Wolfs younger than 18 months of age are adolescents, they are playful and adaptable. They take directions readily and can bond with other species. Young wolves act more like the common dog as they have not developed into maturity. As a wolf grows out of its adolescents, its hormonal system reaches maturity and it will begin to exhibit all of the typical behaviors of the wolf.

Dog Training Advice - Top 5 Important Dog Training Advice And Tips For Your Dog Obedience Training

  • Get a cat

  • Is your dog a Shiloh shepard? The dog whistle gets there attention. It may be used for training also. You need to get you dog into classes so you know how to properly train it.

  • Well start early with training or it would be hard later, like in the next 3 months. If s/he's 1 month old or a week old, it might be easier. So start with the basics:
    1. Sit
    2. Come
    3. Speak
    4. Jump
    5. Lay down
Use little treats to help and frequently use the SAME word, so s/he will understand it. Now with dog whistles, they are used (I think) for making the dog come. Humans can't hear the sound, but dogs have ears that can hear high pitches, so that would help when telling him to come. But don't do it outside because other dogs may hear it and you'll will be swarmed with dogs lol. Good luck!
    And P.S. I gotta a brown dog, pittbull-roitweiler. I LOVE dogs!

  • a dog whistle will be used as a stimulus in training a dog.

to train him to eat in his bowl or to sit you would

first blow the whistle so he can hearr it and come towards you

if you train him to sit you willput your hand on his lower back and when he sits you will give him a treat.

that teached him threw positive reinforcment that everytime he hears a whistle he knows that a) its time to eat or b) you want him to do something.

like blow the whistle and say sit instructing yourt hands in the motion to sit. then treat him for doing it.

after awhile he will learn with out the whistle and hand gesture and that is when you stop treating him or do it once in awhiel and show your friends that you dog can sit.

Do this for all other tricks including pottie training
