Hunting Dog Training Equipment

Some people will not agree with this, but it is not mean and it will not hurt the dog at all. Carry around a small squirt bottle with plain water in it and when he nips you, squirt his head. I used it to train my dog when she jumps up on the trash can. It takes them a minute for them to realize you are squirting them for their behavior, but they will eventually put two and two together. I do not believe in physically hurting my dog and this was a safe and effective solution for me. I hope this helps!
A Working Dog - Training
- when you walk in the home, if he bites on your ankles, walk right back out. Keep doing this until he stops. Remember to reward at all times when he isnt do it, but do it in a calm way, otherwise you are getting him excited and just asking for him to do it.
- teat like a child when he does that. get a dog cage and put him in there for 15-20 minutes when he does it constantly saing no to him.. it takes time but eventually he should stop... i have a husky that used to bite all the time ant this is how my family got him to stop
- Tell him NO! really sharply and tap him on the nose. (don't HIT him, just tap him a little sharply, but NOT so it hurts him more than an ooh!). If he doesn't let go say NO (insert name)! Good Luck! x
- i think this should work if not you should know your getting advice from a 10 year old
Everytime he tries to bite you, leave go back outside for 10 seconds every single time this could take hours but it should work you need the paitence. If it doesn't work have a bottle of water like the spay kinda thing and see if he stops like a cat. - Use the vocalization that the mother dog uses to discipline her puppies. When he bites, say AAUUUGH in a loud guttural voice. When he looks up in surprise, (and they almost always do) say NO! and walk away.
