Dog Health Questions: Need help with dog training.?

ok well i got a 1 year old pomeranian and a 3 month old miniature pinscher. the one year old knows that when he's outside he uses the restroom but the 3 month old doesnt she thinks its play time. so she will use the restroom as soon as she gets back inside. its hard to take them out more than a few times a day because i have a baby and i really dont want to take her out everytime i take them out. so both dogs will use the restroom in the house sometimes when i dont know cause i have dark carpet and its hard to tell wher they have urinated but i can smell it and it grosses me out. i can usually let the 3 month old out without a leash and she comes right back but if i let the 1 year old out without a leash he will bark like crazy at the neighbors dogs and will take off. does anyone have any advice that will help? please i am fed up. also i do have a husband but he goes to college an work so hes gone most the day and its pretty much my job to take care of the dogs.

Important Dog Training Information

Recommended Answer:
Training is the best investment you can make in your relationship with your dog. You'll need to do your homework first, though, to learn how to communicate what you want in a way that your dog will understand. Stay consistent and patient, reward your dog for getting it right and remember: you can train a dog of any age.

Is My Jack Russell Suitable For Schutzhund Dog Training?

  • why did you get a puppy when you have a baby???????????? Puppies need a LOT of training and owner dog time, and you cant play with a dog and care for a baby at the same time, if you had to get a dog you should have gotten a adult dog that is potty trained and isnt as active....

  • Try potty pads you can at least get her trained on the idea that you only potty in certain spots then take that potty pad and move it closer to the door and such also remember to praise and treat highly when your little puppy is outside and does! potty

  • Carry the dogs a little farther away from the house then put them down to walk back. Then the girl will have no choice but potty or poo on the walk back. My dog did the pee as soon as we came in thing too, until I learned from her breeder what to do to fix that.

  • In order to train a dog.. you must have time to train the dog. A 3 month old dog has a tiny bladder and goes VERY frequently.... I don't know anyway to train a puppy without a lot of time.
Perhaps you can find books on the subject.
