Dog Health Questions: Questions about service animal training?

I'm currently doing a career project, and I've decided to choose Service animal training. However, I'm having trouble finding information on service animals aside from dogs.

What animals are used for service? What service is each animal best suited for (seeing, retrieving, etc)?

What's the avg salary range for a service animal trainer?

What education is required?

What skills does one need to be a successful trainer?

Disadvantages/advantages of the career field?Like I've said previously, I could only find the above info on service DOG training, but info on other animals is limited. I've sent emails to a few trainers I've found online, but I've yet to receive anything back.

Thanks!

How to Use Dog Training Books to Reinforce You Dog's Good Behavior

Recommended Answer:
The reason information is hard to find about animals other than dogs is because the law was changed effective March 15th which made only dogs legally able to be considered service animals for public venue access purposes.

Just concentrate on the dog aspect, as that is the only legally recognized species.
