Dog Health Questions: What is a good puppy training book?

My friend has a 3 1/2 month old puppy that is getting a little out of hand. I am certified in dog training, but she doesn't even know how to get him to come to his name. Does anyone know of any good books that cover: play biting, house training, down, and tricks. He is a mini Australian shepherd. This book needs to be detailed and very clear. This is her first dog and she has no idea what to do with him.
