I have Akita dog's and i want to learn how to train them. I just want basic stuff like sit,stay,stand that stuff please help

Sit: Have some treats ready, and a clicker. Raise the treat above the dogs nose, and pull it back so his head leans back. When his rump hits the ground, click and treat. After awhile start using the word sit.
Stay: Have your dog sit, and hold your palm in front of his muzzle and say stay. Every three seconds click and treat, only if he remains in a stay. If he moves, start over. After awhile, start using the word stay.
Stand: Have your dog in a sit position, and then lift his body up so he's standing. Click and treat. After awhile start using the word stand. Or up.

- an akita as a first dog? you got an akita and don't know how to train it??? bad move dude.... horrible... that breed is not for first time owners... you can give me a thumbs down, but you need to hear this.... and go to obedience school with it! they are capable of inflicting a lot of pain with their powerful jaws. they are a very dominant breed and need to be trained early... and trust me, sit and stay are the least of your worries
